PURINA HORSE FEEDS NOW AVAILABLE IN WESTERN CANADA

LETHBRIDGE, Alberta – Cargill Animal Nutrition has made available through some of its feed mills and dealer networks a limited number of the Agribrands Purina horse feeds best known as “Purina Horse Chows". The Purina Checkerboard brand is well known and recognized throughout North America and the world as a quality horse feed manufacturer and supplier.

“We recognize that for the horse owner involved in English or Western showing, eventing or training, that feed consistency is essential to horse performance,” said Bruce Harris, district marketing manager with Cargill Animal Nutrition. “The introduction of Purina Horse Chows to our existing feed lines will provide our customers access to the quality feeds necessary to compete in the horse industry,” he added.

Agribrands Purina horse feeds have not been available in Western Canada for several years. Cargill Animal Nutrition is pleased to be working with Agribrands Purina Canada to provide our customers with the Purina Horse Chows product.

"Recently, we had an opportunity at Equifair at Spruce Meadows to display the Purina horse feeds. Based on the overwhelming feedback and interest, it was well worth the effort. Our booth was crowded with horse owners wanting to know when and where they could purchase Purina Horse Chows in Canada," said Harris.
