Cargill Foods contributes
to Thanksgiving Meal for Toronto's homeless

Etobicoke, ON - Cargill Foods will help prepare 200 Thanksgiving
meals for homeless people in Toronto on Thanksgiving Day.
Cargill Foods is donating food and assisting with co-ordination
of the Thanksgiving dinner hosted by the Bread of Life Ministry.
The meal will be held in Alexander Park on Monday, October
14 at 2 p.m.
"We are proud to be associated with the work that Bread
of Life Ministry has been doing in the Toronto area. As a
food company, this provided us with an opportunity to help
out a worthwhile cause in our community," said Peter
Tureski, General Manager, Cargill Foods.
Cargill Foods is donating ham, salads, paper plates and utensils
for the meal, which is being served outside (weather permitting.)
The company has been donating volunteers and product for the
past seven years to Bread of Life Ministry, a group that provides
meals to the less fortunate.
Cargill Foods is a meat packaging facility located in Etobicoke,
Ontario. Employing approximately 800, the business provides
case ready meat products direct to grocery store refrigerator
cases. Cargill Foods is a division of Cargill Limited, an
agri-food company headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with
interests in crop inputs, grain handling, meat, egg and oilseed
processing and feed, salt and fertilizer manufacturing.
