Cargill purchases and sells grains, oilseed and specialty crops throughout Canada and markets them around the world. Cargill works closely with the Canadian Wheat Board to further expand their grain export and marketing capabilities of wheat, barley and durum. They also export non-board grains such as canola, oats, rye, flax, soybeans and peas.
They are active share holders in Prince Rupert Grain.
Cargill has interior handling facilities, export terminals and forwarding/merchandising offices located in Vancouver, Winnipeg and Montreal. Cargill’s grain and oilseed ports are located in Baie Comeau, Québec; Thunder-Bay and Sarnia, Ontario and Vancouver, British Columbia.
Cargill is also involved in a number of joint venture relationships across Canada that offer grain handling services.
