Cargill Meat Solutions operates two Canadian facilities. The High River, Alberta plant is a fully integrated beef processing facility where 1,900 employees process 4,000 head of cattle per day. In Guelph, Ontario, (2) operations, a beef plant and a retail ready, employ a combined 1400 employees, while the beef plant processes a total of 1,400 head of cattle per day.

Sun Valley Foods, a division of Cargill, employs approximately 70 people in its beef processing operations in Spruce Grove, Alberta and produces approximately 1 million pounds of beef patties each week.
