Western Canada

Cargill Animal Nutrition currently operates 5 facilities in Western Canada; Camrose, AB; Lethbridge, AB; North Battleford, SK; Brandon, MB; St.Boniface (Winnipeg), MB.

Cargill Animal Nutrition provides customized animal productivity solutions to commercial producers across Western Canada. With the purchase of National Grain in 1974, Cargill Ltd (CAN) entered the feed business with the Nutrena® brand to service Western Canada. All facilities came through acquisitions over the next couple years with the exception of Camrose, which Cargill built in 1982.

Under the Nutrena® brand, Cargill was among the first to focus its marketing efforts along species lines, offering customized nutrient-based customer solutions to Western Canadian producers.  Our proprietary technology provided optimal nutritional value and consistency.  In addition, through a network of feed dealers and distributors, Cargill also offers Nutrena® products and services for lifestyle and companion animals across North America.

As a pioneer of nutrient technology, Cargill has led the way in developing unique solutions for its customers.
