Cargill today reported net earnings of $425 million in the fiscal 2015 first quarter ended Aug. 31, down 26 percent from $571 million in the year-ago period. Revenues in the first three months totaled $33.3 billion, a 2 percent change from last year’s $33.8 billion.

Cargill today reported net earnings of $424 million in the fiscal 2014 fourth quarter ended May 31, down 12 percent from $483 million in the year-ago period. Fourth-quarter revenues rose 2 percent to $36.2 billion.

Cargill reports third-quarter fiscal 2014 earnings

Cargill today reported net earnings of $319 million in the fiscal 2014 third quarter ended Feb. 28, down 28 percent from $445 million in the year-ago period. Nine-month earnings were $1.45 billion, down 21 percent from $1.83 billion a year ago. Third-quarter revenues were $32 billion, essentially even with the year-ago period; nine-month revenues totaled $98.7 billion.

Cargill today reported net earnings of $556 million in the fiscal 2014 second quarter ended Nov. 30, up 36 percent from $409 million in the year-ago period. First-half earnings were $1.13 billion, down 19 percent from $1.38 billion a year ago. Second-quarter revenues decreased 7 percent to $32.9 billion, which brought first-half revenues to $66.7 billion.
